Artist Gunter Demnig's "Stumbling Stones" are memorials to men, women and children who were murdered by the Nazis. Placed outside each victim's last place of residence, they cite name, dates of birth and death, and place of death, bare facts which conceal individual life stories. This book charts the fate of the 320 people commemorated by "Stumbling Stones" in Duesseldorf, Erkrath, Langenfeld, Mettmann, Monheim and Ratingen.

Where Knowledge Creates Wisdom
Format: Paperback
A must-read for anyone seeking the title of King/Queen of Minutae. Weather predictions are typically, freakishly spot-on. There is simply a wealth of information in here that you are better off knowing, or will at least make you popular on trivia night. There are some quality vendors that you don't see online advertising in here too. The only drawbacks are the snowfall total in Florida challenging Central Oregon this winter, and the increase in price over last year. Tariffs on paper?

Good quality book.
Format: Paperback
Bought these because I bought one for my grandmother every year for Christmas. It is good quality, but I have only opened it one time. I got it for sentimental reasons.

Outstanding Book
Format: Paperback
Great book, a classic that seems more timely now than ever! First read Dr Akbar’s book years ago and bought this updated edition to replace the copy someone borrowed & never returned (another sign of a good book when they don’t get returned). So glad to have this new copy to revisit the deep wisdom and insights Dr Akbar lays out. He explains the painful & persistent psychological & sociological chains of slavery clearly and irrefutably. This book is a must read for anyone who wants to better understand why it’s so hard to heal the terrible wounds of slavery — even today, even generations past physical shackles....

Quick & Informative Read
Format: Paperback
I only called it a “quick read” because when I get warped in a book, I lose track of time. This is one of those books. Quite an easy read. Recently Purchased the other books that were recommended with this one.
