Quimera von Achaval Ferrer ist eine Mischung aus Malbec aus der Region Luján de Cuyo, Cabernet Sauvignon aus Tunuyán und Junin, Merlot und Cabernet Franc aus dem Uco-Tal und kleinen Zugaben von Petit Verdot. Die Vielfalt der Rebsorten und Terroirs garantiert die Herstellung eines komplexen, eleganten und strukturierten Weins. Nach der Ernte werden die Trauben separat vergoren. Der fertige und zusammengestellte Wein ruht dann 13 Monate lang in neuen französischen Eichenfässern. Sein Name hat eine doppelte Bedeutung. Er bezieht sich auf die Suche nach dem Unmöglichen, verstanden als die Suche nach dem perfekten Wein, aber auch auf die Chimäre der griechischen Mythologie, die ein Tier darstellt, das aus verschiedenen Tieren besteht, ein bisschen wie die Mischung dieses Weins. Im Glas zeigt der Wein ein fruchtiges Aromaprofil mit Noten von Pflaume und Blaubeere, mineralischen und erdigen Anklängen. Am Gaumen ist er reichhaltig und großzügig, konzentriert mit samtigen Tanninen und einer guten Struktur. Der Abgang ist lang und saftig. Great reference textbook.
Format: Paperback
I love the style of the author's writing for this text. It is not too dense, and they provide humor/ a more personal approach. The way the chapters are divided is great for a quick glance. I like that it provides a section devoted to the techniques of each theory and provides different case examples. I initially went back and forth between renting and purchasing. Ultimately, I'm glad that I purchased it because I think it will be a good quick reference guide.

Best textbook I've ever read, LOVE GEHART
Format: eTextbook
I used another Gehart textbook in a different class and I can't say enough how much I love this author. In 6 years of academia I don't think I've actually enjoyed reading a textbook until this. She has a "needs to know" section at the beginning of each chapter so even if I haven't had time to read the entire chapter before when I need to I can read that and have some basis of understanding. She also includes information on the theorists, and even though I always skip that part I know some people really like knowing about that.
I think it is INVALUABLE that each chapter also has a sample case conceptualization and treatment plan template. AS WELL AS exploring the implications for each theory of its strength's and limitation's with working with diverse clients.
My only very minor complaint is the Questions for Personal Reflection and Class Discussion. For several of the chapters it really seems like this was written by someone who hadn't even read the chapter because there were questions asking about something that was very minor or barely mentioned in the chapter.

one of the most helpful counseling books I've found
using this in my master's level counseling class and it's a great resource. I appreciate the way it is written/organized/formatted. It offers some historical background to the theory, describes the theoretical concepts and framework, gives a case example, a sort of worksheet/guide for applying it in practice, and cultural considerations for each chapter/theory.

Great w/ADHD
Format: Paperback
This book was highly recommended to me as graduate intern because I struggle to stay focused. This is an easy “get what you need” book of various modalities and provides you the ability to learn enough about the modalities in addition to applying the modality quick reference format.
Would highly recommend for anyone that gets extremely overwhelmed learning modalities.
