Der Antrieb funktioniert wie bei allen Schindelhauer Modellen via Gates Carbon Drive Riemen. Das System ist leise, wartungsarm und hält bis zu viermal länger als eine Kette. Trotz Riemen stehen dir acht Gänge in der Nabe zur Verfügung, dadurch ist auch Schalten während du an der Ampel stehst etwa kein Problem.
