A timeless pair of Victorian Diamond stud earrings, each centred with a natural Old Mine Cut Diamond set in Sterling Silver with a beautiful, dark antique patina. The original Victorian Diamond heads have been sympathetically paired with newly fitted 18ct Gold posts and butterfly backs for comfort and security. Bright, lively and understated, these classic studs deliver an elegant whisper of sparkle.

ERA: Victorian (1837–1901).
MEASUREMENTS: Studs are 4.5mm long x 4.5mm wide.
Diamonds measure approx 2.2mm in diameter, weighing approx. 0.10ct combined.
WEIGHT: 0.8g (pair).
MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold (posts and butterfly backs), Tests as Sterling Silver (settings), Old Mine Cut Diamonds (0.10ct).
STAMPS: “750” to the newer earring backs.
HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.
PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.
Condition:
EXCELLENT: The natural Diamonds are bright and securely set, showing lively sparkle. The Sterling Silver settings retain an attractive dark patina with only minimal surface wear consistent with age. The 18ct Gold posts and butterfly backs are later fittings that sit securely; overall wear is minimal and the earrings have been well cared for.
