The end of 2021. There was the island. There was our music. Wind and waves and the blues. And – once again – an unexpected amount of time…
The idea arose to spend a few days on the beautiful North Sea island of Spiekeroog to record. The four of us know this place very well from regular performances, including at the local jazz festival, and it quickly became clear to us that we would find conditions here that couldn't be better: peace and quiet, no distractions, and inspiration from the incomparable charisma of this pretty island and its people.
This allowed us to use the Kogge, the venue there, for a few days to record the music. The result is a mix of new songs, original compositions, and songs we've had in our repertoire for a while. We're thrilled to be able to present our music now.
