Der Alto vom Weingut Petra, ein reinsortiger Sangiovese, begeistert durchseinen intensiven Duft nach dunklen Waldbeeren, Pflaumen und reifen Kirschen.Am Gaumen präsentiert sich der Alto kraftvoll mit einer vielschichtigen,aromatischen Frucht, dazu eine intensive mineralische Note, die Tannine passensich perfekt ein. Ein sehr spannender Sangiovese - Toskana pur! Weingut Petra Petra ist Teil des Imperiums von Vittorio Moretti. Der lombardische Bauunternehmer ist in der Weinwelt in erster Linie für seine hervorragenden Bellavista-Schaumweine aus der Franciacorta berühmt. 2003 weihte er den von Mario Botta entworfenen Betrieb in der Maremma ein, der von seiner Tochter Francesca geleitet wird. Die ausgebildete Önologin hatte gewissermassen Carte blanche: Praktisch alle Anlangen wurden neu erstellt. Der grösste Teil der Produktion entfällt auf Merlot- und Cabernet-Sauvignon-Reben. Von Sangiovese und Syrah sind kleinere Bestände vorhanden. Alle Parzellen sind in maximaler Dichte bestockt, ein Teil wird nach biologischen Prinzipien bewirtschaftet (in Umstellung). Die Hanglagen profitieren von der natürlichen Drainage und vom optimalen Sonneneinfall. Ein Teil des Anbaus ist in Umstellung Mario Botta hat den Gebäudemantel so gestaltet, dass sein markantester Teil, eine Treppe, von der Erde zum Himmel zeigt. Die Innenräume mit allen weinspezifischen Einrichtungen haben Vittorio Moretti und sein Beraterteam selbst entwickelt. Wesentlich waren der Einbezug der Schwerkraft zum Transport von Trauben, Maische und Wein, die Abstimmung der Behälterkapazitäten auf die Parzellengrössen und anderes mehr. Ein kleines Detail: Es befinden sich keine Maschinen in den Räumen, wo der Wein lagert – er soll in aller Ruhe reifen können.

Horrendous, Even for a Required Textbook
Format: Paperback
Normally reviews aren't necessary for school textbooks. They're required. You're buying this whether you want to or not. However, I feel I need to take a moment and record how awful this book is. It's sexist, unhelpful, and is written as if the authors are talking down to a reader. You can't even complete the exercises after reading the chapters, and the book provides no answers if you were to try. I learned nothing from this text, except that women are smart and healthy and men are sick and stupid. These are stereotypes texts can easily avoid. Instead, this text sought out those stereotypes, going out of its way to reinforce them. Textbooks should put readers to sleep at worst, not actively insult them. And to be clear, this isn't about the fact that women live longer. This complaint concerns that every single example in the text that concerns a sickly individual uses a male pronoun, and every example in the text that concerns a healthy individual uses a female pronoun. The sexism grows from there. Textbooks have to try to be this poor. In that regard, and that regard alone, this one succeeded.
If you're about to take a class that requires this textbook, reconsider your life trajectory. Something is going wrong.
Also, and this is petty, but the comics made for this textbook are probably the worst I've ever seen. The art is so poor it's not even funny. My dog could do better.

Helpful and to the point.

As an undergrad psych student, It's a helpful little book! It essentially has everything the full DSM-5 has but skips all the word foreplay and gets right to the point.

Just the DSM-5 tool I was looking for
Format: Paperback
I searched for a DSM-5 quick reference tool that I could use throughout my workday. This DSM-5 book by Medical Creations was just what I was looking for. Each psychiatric condition is listed in an easy-to-find and easy-to-read format. Diagnostic criteria are summarized in a bulleted format. I found the listed corresponding ICD-10 code especially useful when charting patient notes.
I found the final chapter especially interesting, as I was unfamiliar with many of the covered conditions. Chapter 20 is titled "Cultural Diagnoses and Conditions for Further Study, Interviewing". This chapter includes disorders such as caffeine use disorder and internet gaming disorder.
The book is lightweight and nicely fits into a white coat pocket. It is a great resource for both students who are just learning about psychiatric conditions and for experienced healthcare providers. I highly recommend!
