Gunter Rambow gehört als Plakat- und Buchgestalter zu den führenden internationalen Grafik- und Fotodesignern. Seine tückisch-geistreichen Theater- und Museumsplakate haben während des großen kulturellen Aufschwungs der Stadt Frankfurt in den letzten Jahrzehnten eine wichtige Rolle gespielt. Diese schön gestaltete Publikation zeigt über 150 Arbeiten, überwiegend Plakate für öffentliche und private Auftraggeber, dann Beispiele für Buch- und Zeitschriftengestaltung, Lehrprojekte, die Gunter Rambow mit seinen Studenten 1979 und 1986 an der Gesamthochschule Kassel durchgeführt hat, und Auszüge aus der Projektarbeit »Fernseh-Design« für den Hessischen Rundfunk 1991. Zum Gestalter: Gunter Rambow *1938, lebt und arbeitet in Frankfurt a.M. Zahlreiche Auszeichnungen, darunter 1992 der Design Award des International Center of Photography. sweet picture book read

I LOVE DAD WITH THE VERY HUNGRY CATERPILLAR is a sweet book of love, written from the perspective of a child to their father. The book uses imagery from other Eric Carle books alongside simple language to describe the connection between father and child, such as "Dad... You are easy to talk to... and you're fun to play with." Ellipses break up sentences across multiple pages, with animals that suit each phrase pictured as parent and child.
What I loved: This is a cute and simple read that would be a great gift for a new father or father of a young child, as they can share it together. The short length of the book works well for infants and toddlers, as each page only has a few words. The illustrations are simple, borrowing from past Eric Carle books to maintain his style, and showing the animals most related to the text (for instance, on the page with "but you're still cool" it features polar bears) on a white background. This is a simple style that will work well for little ones. The very hungry caterpillar appears on each page, almost hidden and could make for a fun and easy search for toddlers.
Final verdict: Overall, this is a sweet picture book that would make a great gift for new fathers or fathers with young children.

Daily devotional with ease.
Format: Imitation Leather
This is a great little devotional book for men. I bought two, one for me and one for my son. I keep mine at my desk at work and read it each morning and I enjoy the insightful quotes and verses that help me start my day. It truly only takes about a minute or two to read through everything and the verses are actually written out on the page with the reference. I know there are a lot of devotionals out there that you can select from, but I like this one because it’s small and compact and acutely directed towards men. The small size is perfect, the price is excellent, and the daily devotionals are spot on.
