Hey Camper, schau dir unseren verbesserten 040Parts Heckklappenaufsteller an, der seit Juni noch besser geworden ist! Dieses coole Teil besteht aus 2 mm dickem Aluminium und hält deine Heckklappe sicher geöffnet, selbst wenn sie mit einer Menge Gepäck und Fahrrädern beladen ist. Kein mühsames und gefährliches Halten der schweren Heckklappe mehr - dieser kleine Helfer macht es möglich!
Der Aufsteller für die Heckklappe rastet von selbst ein, sobald die Klappe hochgedrückt wurde. So hat man alle Hände frei und kann die Klappe sicher und unfallfrei geöffnet lassen. Zum Schließen der Heckklappe muss der Aufsteller nur kurz angehoben werden. So kann der Zylinder der Gasdruckfeder problemlos wieder einfahren.
Er ist kompatibel mit dem Mercedes V-Klasse, Vito und insbesondere den Marco Polo Modellen. Aber Achtung, Leute: Nicht jedes Modell hat die gleichen Gasdruckfedern. Daher solltest du vor dem Kauf die Länge des dünnen Dämpferrohrs (sollte mindestens 265 mm sein) und den Durchmesser des dicken Dämpferrohrs (sollte maximal 32 mm sein) messen. So kannst du sicherstellen, dass unser Heckklappenaufsteller perfekt zu deinem Van passt.
Und hier noch ein Tipp: Unser Heckklappenaufsteller ist nur für Gasfedern OHNE Schutzmantel geeignet!
Auch wenn unser Heckklappenaufsteller aus robustem Material besteht, kann er bei zu viel Kraft beschädigt werden. Denk also daran, das Teil vor dem Schließen oder Bewegen der Heckklappe zuerst zu entriegeln.

Works well after some super glue

Functional after slight modification. The towel bar, scrub daddy holder and brush holders will move and come out whenever you remove your towel/sponge/brushes. We super glued all the moving parts so they don't come apart during use and it was been working great after some adjustments. I would think other similar products would have the same issue. I would still recommend if you plan to glue all the moving parts together.

Super functional AND looks great!

This really does it all. It looks great and holds hand soap, a small bottle of dish soap and the various brushes for doing dishes and cleaning straws but it also has slots for things like a sponge or the drain plugs. All things contained neatly in one spot. The pull out drip tray is perfect and easy to pull out to clean. So far, it has kept its finish and have had no issues with peeling or the black coming off like some have done in past.
