Der Apfelbaum ist selbstbestäubend.Der Obstbaum blüht im Frühjahr. Dann erscheinen schöne rosa-weiße Blüten. Im zweiten Jahr nach dem Pflanzen können wir ab dem Sommer mit der Ernte beginnen. Wir beschneiden den Apfelbaum im Winter. Vorausgesetzt, es friert nicht. Der Duo-Apfelbaum gedeiht in gut durchlässigen Böden. Wir halten den Boden immer feucht. In trockenen Zeiträumen gießen wir mehr. Für ein gutes Wachstum ist ausreichend Licht erforderlich. Wir pflanzen den Obstbaum daher in die (halb-)volle Sonne.
