Der mechanische Thermostat stellt die Standardsteuerung des
Kühlaggregates dar, da er zuverlässig und einfach für Bootseigner einfach zu bedienen ist. Er ermöglicht eine schnelle Kühlung durch die Steuerung der Kompressoraktivierung mit einen einfachen ein/aus-Befehl. 

Isotherm Magnum-Geräte sind speziell für Schiffe mit außergewöhnlich hohem Kühlbedarf konzipiert,
zum Beispiel für Schiffe, die in tropischen Gewässern fahren. Alle Magnum-Modelle nutzen Seewasser, um die Kühleffizienz zu erhöhen
durch eine eingebaute Pumpe, die das Wasser durch den Kondensator drückt. Wenn das Wasser eine Temperatur von über 28°C erreicht, gibt der Spannungsregler der Pumpe zusätzliche Leistung, damit sie schneller läuft und trotzdem die gleiche Kühlleistung erreicht. Die Pumpe ist leise,
selbstansaugend, trockenlaufsicher und selbstbelüftend. Der hocheffiziente Wärmetauscher ist aus einer
korrosionsbeständigen Kupfer-Nickel-Legierung gefertigt und mit einer Zinkanode versehen. Seewassergekühlte Einheiten sind äußerst effizient
und bieten eine höhere Kühlleistung.
