Die schwarze "BR80596 A-2 Jacket" basiert auf dem Type A-2 Rough Wear 23380, dem dritten von fünf Aufträgen, die die Firma Rough Wear für die US Air Force produziert hat.

Durch ein aufwendiges "Pigment Finishing" wird das ursprünglich braune Pferdeleder schwarz gefärbt. Der braune Kern kommt beim Tragen an den beanspruchten Stellen zum Vorschein und verleiht der Jacke eine einzigartige Patina.

Die Idee zu einer ganz in Schwarz gehaltenen Kollektion entstand in Anlehnung an die fiktive schwarze MA-1-Jacke von Buzz Rickson's, die der Science-Fiction-Autor in seinem Buch "Pattern Recognition" für seinen Protagonisten entwarf. Buzz Rickson's erweckte die nie zuvor gesehene Jacke zum Leben und legte den Grundstein für die einzigartige Militaria-Kooperation "Type Black“.

They are soft, comfortable, and feel like a nice upgrade compared to regular pillowcases.
