Das Chateau de Vaudieu, eines der ältesten Weingüter der südlichen Rhône, wurde 1767 von Admiral Gérin erbaut und nach dem nahe gelegenen "Val de Dieu" oder "Tal Gottes" benannt. Vaudieu war eines der ersten Weingüter der Region, das seine Weine ins Ausland exportierte. Seit 50 Jahren ist es im Besitz der Familie Brechet, die das Anwesen kontinuierlich auf 70 Hektar Weinberge erweitert hat. L'Avenue ist einer ihrer Spitzenweine, der in begrenzten Mengen aus 100% Grenache auf Sand- und Kalksteinböden hergestellt wird. Die verwendeten Rebstöcke sind zwischen 40 und 70 Jahre alt und werden von Hand geerntet, um sicherzustellen, dass die Trauben in einem ausgezeichneten Zustand in der Kellerei ankommen. Diese besondere Cuvée wurde kreiert, um das Terrain von Vaudieu zur Geltung zu bringen. Daher wird der junge Wein in Demi-Muids ausgebaut, die größer sind als herkömmliche Eichenfässer, um den Eicheneinfluss zu mildern. In der Nase dominieren bezaubernde blumige Noten, dunkle Kirschen, getrocknete Kräuter und Noten von reifen Beeren, während der erste Schluck eine seidig weiche Textur, feine Tannine und einen hellen Kern mit üppigen Fruchtaromen offenbart. Dieser kräftige und doch ausgewogene Wein ist ein großartiger Begleiter zu allem, von Aufschnitt bis zu einem erstklassigen Steak oder gebratenem Fleisch. I have perpetual allergies which cause me to sneeze and sneeze. Buying tissues at supermarket is so expensive, so I took a chance and bought these, and they are great!
