Für den ständigen Kontakt mit Lebensmitteln ist ein Ölen des Holzes unerlässlich. Hierzu eignen sich z. B. Sonnen-, Raps, Oliven- oder Walnussöle. Nach Gebrauch die BORDA-Produkte von beiden Seiten feucht abwischen, abtrocknen und an der Luft weiter trocknen lassen.
