Die Firma Makita bietet mit der DUC 356 eine leistungsstarke 2x 18 V Akku Kettensäge. Die DUC 356 verfügt selbstverständlich über eine Anti-Kickback-Funktion sowie eine elektrische Bremse um den Anwender beim zurückschlagen der Säge zu schützen. Außerdem lässt sich mit dem Drehmoment Boost die Limitierung des Drehmoments für einen kurzen Moment aufheben um besonders dicke Äste zu schneiden. Der Zahnsporn aus Metall eignet sich optimal um die Säge am Holz anzusetzen und dort nicht zu verrutschen. Die Säge verfügt auch über eine Warnleuchte für niedrigen Ladestand der Akkus und schaltet automatisch ab, um die Akkus vor Tiefentladung und Überhitzung zu schützen. Der bürstenlose Motor ermöglicht eine kompaktere Bauweise und sorgt für eine längere Lebensdauer durch niedrigeren Verschleiß.
