One of the many space portals left behind by the ancient aliens - known as the 'Nameless One' - has recently been activated. The brightest scientific minds in the galaxy have come to the conclusion that once you enter the gate, you only have a limited amount of time before it closes again.

You and your opponents are the chosen captains who bring their spaceships through the mysterious portal and explore the riches beyond. You can choose to be the half-robot, half-insect Hive mind of Tognath, or the cunning and ruthless Maheri tribes, the space-faring tree Sky-Lords of Edda or simply the human of the United Nations Explorer Corps.

Each of you will undertake missions to earn expedition points and gain the most prestige. But you can't complete the missions alone. Once through the gate, you must befriend the locals and gather the best crew to overcome the dangers of this unexplored part of space.

Explore, recruit crew members, build embassies, acquire resources and get back through the gate before it closes again.
