Eine tiefergehende Neubewertung seiner Arbeiten ist lange überfällig.Die Publikation gibt mit Gemälden aus den frühen 1960er-Jahren bis heute einen umfassenden Überblick über fünf Jahrzehnte seines Schaffens. Neben einigen seiner »Icebox«-Bilder und mehreren epischen Historiengemälden sind auch seine Hommagen an Thomas Hart Benton enthalten. In seinen Arbeiten macht sich Peter Saul über die »heiligen Kühe« der Kunstwelt lustig, demonstriert schmerzlich, welchen psychischen Risiken ein alternder US-Amerikaner ausgesetzt ist, und richtet sein Augenmerk auch auf aktuelle politische Fragen.

Not REAL wood - particle board with veneer - but still beautiful.

Came on time, easy to assemble, relatively easy to install. Metal rods are actually metal, which is nice. Flanges are good quality, very nice rustic look.
Shelves are less wonderful. They are definitely not real wood at all. They are cheap particle board with veneer. I would not have purchased had I read more reviews, BUT it is still beautiful, sturdy and does the trick. We can always cut our own shelves if we should so choose and re-use the very nice hardware.
4/5 for misrepresenting as real wood, but 5/5 for functionality and aesthetic.

Couldn't be happier with the results! The combination of black galvanized pipes and thick wooden shelves adds a rustic yet modern touch to my decor. Absolutely love how these turned out! The black pipes and chunky wooden shelves give off a perfect mix of rustic and modern vibes. Super sturdy too—they hold a good amount of weight, so I’ve been using them for books and a few decor pieces. They’re really versatile—would look great in home office or living room as well. Assembly was easy, nothing too tricky. Overall, a great way to save space and add some style to the room!
