Nach seinem Studium am San Francisco Art Institute und am Hunter College in New York erhielt er bereits im Jahr 2000 anlässlich der Whitney Biennial einen der bedeutendsten Preise für zeitgenössische Kunst, den mit 100 000 US-Dollar dotierten Bucksbaum Award des Whitney Museum of American Art. Bekannt ist Paul Pfeiffer für seine digital bearbeiteten Fotografien und Videos, in denen er bekannte Bilder »globaler Ikonen« zerstückelt, fragmentiert oder auslöscht und damit Fragen zu Identität, ihrer Entstehung und ihrer Rekonstruktion in einer von Massenmedien bestimmten Welt beleuchtet. So entfernt er etwa bei 24 Landscapes (2000) die Figur Marilyn Monroes aus den berühmten Strandfotos von George Barris - und lenkt den Blick auf nun romantisch anmutende Landschaftsaufnahmen. Die Publikation zeigt ausgehend von Pfeiffers Werk Self-Portrait as a Fountain (2000) erstmals eine Auswahl seiner Videoarbeiten, Skulpturen und Fotografien der letzten drei Jahre. Shining Shimmering Splendid

Alright, first of all I LOVE the packaging and the spray bottle. Absolutely adorable! Aesthetics are off the charts. As for the actual power and look of the glitter, it is pretty good.
I tried to take photos of it on my hands/arms but the camera has a really hard time picking up the small glitter. In person it will give you a shiny or shimmery look rather than coated in gold. Not quite what I was hoping for, but definitely a cool look!
The spray is quite powerful, so be aware of where you are putting it on. It is very easy to apply, just keep in mind that glitter will go EVERYWHERE. It also comes off easily enough either by rubbing a cloth or washing with water.
