Schon auf der Biennale 1997 in Venedig wurde das Ziel formuliert, »einen gemeinsamen Ort in einer gemeinsamen Zeit zu schaffen«, doch erwiesen sich die einzelnen Länderpavillons erneut als sich gegenseitig abkapselnde Inseln. Im offiziellen Beitrag des Amerikaners Jason Rhoades und des Dänen Peter Bonde für den dänischen Pavillon auf der 48. Biennale in Venedig 1999 wurde nun diese Zielsetzung eingelöst. Erstmals in der Geschichte der Kunstveranstaltung schufen die Vertreter zweier Nationen einen gemeinsamen Kultur- und Kunstraum. »The Snowball« dokumentiert das Gemeinschaftsprojekt, bei dem die Künstler den Pavillon in einen »Stock-Car«-Parcours mit amerikanischen Modell-Serienwagen, Soundeinspielungen und Filmprojektionen verwandeln. Rhoades und Bonde verstehen die Multi-Media-Installation als ein »work in progress«, das bereits im Vorfeld der Biennale im Dialog mit Künstlern, Schriftstellern, Wissenschaftlern und Sponsoren entstand, und auch im Anschluss an die Kunstausstellung - an anderen Orten und mit anderen Menschen - in kreativer Kooperation fortgesetzt werden soll.Shipping Notes

This item was not good quality, so I decided to not not use. It came pretty much wrinkled and folded in some package. And once again, it was not good quality was all wrinkled up you had to Send it to the cleaners to straighten it out and it didn't fit very well. It just wasn't there very good quality, kind of heavy, so so\n I'm not sure if I'll return it or just donate it to the local church. Thank you art cruz

Fantastic product... fantastic fit !

First off, China got this product from their country to ours, then to my hometown.... faster than my own post office could get it across town after much bickering. So... thank you to the Chinese. Complaints about America being better... then start doing better. Secondly the coat was far superior than I even suspected. It fit well and I cannot wait until cooler weather to break it out ! Again... thank you China ! Highly recommend this product.

I Wore These So Much I Almost Forgot I Owned Other Pants

I've been on a lifelong quest for the perfect pair of everyday jeans—durable enough for yard work, comfortable enough for a long car ride, and presentable enough to run errands without looking like I've given up on life.
