The music on "Detached Self" forms a complex and varied picture of different influences. Tracks like "IIIII" and "Descend" are purely instrumental, accompanied only by strings or soft synths or restrained beats. "Refraction" and "Arrival feat. Lihme" as well as "dust" show how wonderfully these instrumental ideas work with vocals or oppressive electronic production.
The LP is pressed on 3-coloured, semi-transparent 140g vinyl, and includes "Align" as a bonus track.
