Der Rye Malt J.H. besteht aus 100% Roggenmalz und ist damit vom Grundprodukt her ein Whisky den man weltweit äußerst selten findet. Den üblicherweise werden klassische Roggenwhisk(e)ys mit ungemälztem Roggen hergestellt. Durch die Verwendung von Roggenmalz entsteht jedoch ein sehr besonderer Whisky der seines gleichen sucht.

Beim Rye Malt J.H. wird das Roggenmalz hell geröstet, sprich mit 85 Grad über Heißluft geröstet.

Farbe: strahlende Goldfarbe
Nase: frischer Duft mit eleganten Noten von Honig, Zitrus und grünem Apfel – kräftig würzig, hell und glasklar. Vom Roggenmalz brotige Noten und Aromen von Stachelbeeren und Kurkuma. Nach einer Weile im Glas viel Süße , Karamell und Zitruszeste.
Gaumen: Frisch und saftig mit würzigen Akzenten von grünen Bananen, Toffee und Muskat. Außerdem Roggennoten mit Kümmel und salzigen Nuancen ebenso wie Mandelmus
Nachklang: bleibt gut haften – strukturiert, sanft aber mit charaktervoller Würze
