DER AIRBAG

Das Airbag-Auslösesystem ist in einem Behälter auf der Rückseite des Halsbandes untergebracht. Der Airbag schützt nahezu den gesamten Kopf und lässt das Sichtfeld frei. Es fixiert den Nacken und sorgt für eine äußerst weiche und flexible Stoßdämpfung. Danach lässt er langsam die Luft ab.

EINSTELLBARE GRÖSSE

Das im medizinischen Bereich häufig verwendete BOA FIT-System zum Tragen von Prothesen ermöglicht die Anpassung der Kragengröße. Mit einem Rädchen können Sie den Kragen verkleinern oder verbreitern, sodass sich der Stoff der natürlichen runden Form des Kragens anpasst, wenn er um den Hals gewickelt wird. 

TECHNOLOGIE

Sobald der Airbag aktiviert ist, zeichnet er 200 Mal pro Sekunde die Bewegungen des Radfahrers auf. Im Falle eines Unfalls wird die abnormale Kinematik des Radfahrers erkannt und der Airbag löst in weniger als 0,1 Sekunden aus.

Der Hövding Airbag-Helm wird mit einem USB-Kabel aufgeladen. Zwei Stunden Ladezeit ermöglichen eine Aktivitätsreichweite von 15 Stunden. Darüber hinaus verbindet sich der Helm über Bluetooth mit Ihrem Smartphone und bietet Ihnen Funktionen wie Notfallkontakte im Einsatzfall und den Ladestand mit Benachrichtigung.

Not a super fast charger but convenient.

Works well with induction-compatible iPhones. It's great with a iPhone 14 Pro. It will also charge a 16e, although the 16e is not equipped with MagSafe--that's just the magnet that holds the charger on. The 16e must be placed on top of the charger and carefully positioned for it to work. In my tests the charger drew about 1.7A @ 9V, for a total of about 10W. How much of this is absorbed by the phone is unknown, but probably most of it. this is not a super fast charge, but fine if you're leaving it for the night. The phone and charger do get warm, so some power is wasted. The heat is not a problem, though, since the phone gets warm when plugged in via the Lightning port, too. Some reviewers have mentioned tha the charger is rounded which means you can't leave the phone+charger on a surface. There is a flat spot on the charger, and I have no problem leaving the phone charge overnight. I find the cable long enough to reach the charger plugged into the wall near the floor, but that depends on your situation. Of course, if it's not long enough, there's not much you can do but move things around!

Charging works exactly as you'd expect from Anker. 15W MagSafe-compatible, grips the back of the phone firmly, no heat issues, no drop-offs during overnight charging. Zero complaints on function.
