Schützt den Unterboden des Motors und die Krümmer der deutschen Adventure modelle. Mit seinem Anbau werden wertvolle und empfindliche Bereiche wie das Kurbelgehäuse und die Verbindung der Krümmer vor Beschädigungen und Stößen durch Steine und Schlamm geschützt, was umso wichtiger ist, wenn wir die Offroad-Möglichkeiten berücksichtigen, die beide Modelle bieten. Es passt perfekt zu den unteren Teil des Motorrads, integriert sich in das Ganze und verleiht ihm ein abenteuerlicheres und persönlicheres Image. Seine Installation hat keinen Einfluss auf die Aerodynamik des Motorrads. Der untere Teil des Protektors ist komplett flach, was es einfacher macht diese auf die Hebebühne zu stellen bei Inspektionen in der Werkstatt, und er hat Löcher, um eine gute Kühlung zu gewährleisten und Wasser, Schlamm oder kleine angesammelte Steine abzuleiten. Zusätzlich zur Erleichterung des Ölwechsel muss der Schutz nicht entfernt werden. Entworfen und hergestellt in Barcelona, besteht es aus hochwertigem 4 mm dickem Aluminium, was zu einem sehr widerstandsfähigen und leichten Stück führt, und hat eine mattsilberne eloxierte Oberfläche. Es umfasst spezielle Metallhalterungen mit Korrosionsschutzbehandlung, die für ein dezentes und elegantes Finish in strukturiertem Schwarz lackiert sind. Der Protektor ist am unteren Teil des Motorrads mit Anti-Vibrations-Gummistützen befestigt, die mögliche Schläge absorbieren, die der Protektor erhalten kann, die Aufprallkraft über die verschiedenen Befestigungspunkte verteilen und dadurch mögliche störende Geräusche beseitigen, die dabei entstehen wenn die Gummis werden nicht verwendet werden. Es ist schnell und einfach ohne mechanische Kenntnisse zu montieren, Sie müssen nur die Schritt-für-Schritt-Anleitung befolgen, die auf Papier geliefert wird und online nachgeschaut werden kann.

Fits our 2012 X5d perfectly. Do yourself a favor and youtube the process for replacing these. You'll see it's well worth doing yourself rather than paying a shop that charges a BMW premium on everything. Also something I learned recently... this is a low cost high charge item at the mechanic. A lot of times when they suggest replacing these it's because they just tick the box and don't actually look at them. We had our mechanic admit this on a recent service where it was suggested to replace, when we had just done it ourselves in April.

Perfect fit for our 2018 X5 35D
Perfect fit. Never replaced a filter in this car before and took me only 13 minutes. I timed it lol. That includes taking some before and after pictures from the old and new filter. What is worth mentioning is that the car was until now under the “fake maintenance” from BMW that comes with a new car and goes until 36.000 miles. Up to this mileage there is no other service the. The oil changes (3) due. The first real checkup is at a higher mileage and not covered anymore. Anyway , those filters where replaced before from a BMW dealership. When I compare the new filters and the filters I took out of the car they look the same. I was expecting to find some BMW marks on the installed filter but perhaps they don’t put their name in it anymore??? Or it could be they also put “after market” parts in. Anyway, BMW quoted me in all seriousness 700 dollar to replace those filters and the Inside filter The inside filter is on its way and is 25 dollar. Together with those filters the parts came to 55 dollar and I guess a total of 30 minute of work. Well done BMW, lol. We all need to make a living buy that should be considered “robbery” Anyway, if you thinking about replacing those filters then go for it. It’s not complicated and all you need is a screw driver to get one plastic river out that you can push back in once you are done. Those filters here from MANN are the real deal and fit perfectly and state that they are made in Germany. I have no reason not to believe it.

It seems to be working well, so far. The check engine light turned off and the my vehicle seems to be running well. Be sure to follow the instructions. A while back, I wasted some money on a different catalytic converter cleaner because I put the cleaner in on a full tank of gas. It's best to wait until you're at a half tank or less of gasoline before you put in your catalytic converter cleaner. Also, I drove around right after I put in the catalytic converter cleaner and before I filled up my tank again. A couple of days later, I went to the gas station and topped off my tank.
