Inzwischen wird der Betrieb in dritter Generation weitergeführt und hat sich auf die Herstellung köstlicher und zugänglicher italienischer Weine spezialisiert, die ein außergewöhnliches Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis bieten. Neben klassischen Weinen wie diesem charmanten Amarone umfasst ihr Portfolio auch modernere Sorten, die in die ganze Welt exportiert werden. Die Trauben für diesen stattlichen Amarone della Valpolicella werden auf kalkhaltigen und lehmigen Böden angebaut, die dem Wein eine große Tiefe und Eleganz verleihen. Die Früchte werden Mitte September sorgfältig von Hand gelesen und über den Winter drei Monate lang getrocknet. Dieses traditionelle Verfahren ist für die Herstellung von Amarone unerlässlich, da es die Aromen und den Zucker in den Trauben konzentriert, während sie sich in Rosinen verwandeln. Nach der Vinifizierung wird der junge Wein in französische Eichenfässer umgefüllt, wo er je nach den Eigenschaften des Jahrgangs 18 bis 20 Monate lang reift. Dieser lange Ausbau sorgt für verführerische Geschmacks- und Aromenschichten, darunter reiche Cassis-, Brombeer- und dunkle Pflaumennoten sowie Anklänge an Tabak, Kakao, Leder und Zigarrenkiste. Die seidigen Tannine und die kräftige Struktur lassen diesen Wein hervorragend noch ein paar Jahre reifen. Er kann aber auch jetzt schon zu reichhaltigen Wildeintöpfen, Wildbret oder gereiftem Käse genossen werden.Shipping Notes

Relief for dry mouth without gum irritation
Big improvement for users with sensitive gums. These relieve dry mouth during the night almost as well as the regular tabs. Some complained about a residual gel left on the gums. 🙄Just wipe it off. It’s a small thing.

This version doesn’t work
I used these 2 nights in a row. I was hoping Oracoat found a solution to the problem people like me have with the regular Xylimelts: irritation of gums. As others have noted the “sensitive” version doesn’t melt and the goo that remains can be difficult to remove. I didn’t have too much trouble after the first night. However, the second day after use, it was so hard to get the remains out, I wound up with a very sore spot from digging it out. I will toss the rest.
It’s too bad this effort fizzled. I hope Oracoat will find a solution For sensitive mouths. In the b meantime, I will use the original for a few nights and then stop before repeating. The idea behind the original product is fantastic. Unfortunately this attempt to make it usable for people with sensitive mouths hasn’t worked. Please try again.

An improvement over the original product, but could be better
I had used the original Xylimelts a few years back for my night time very dry mouth. They worked very well, completely dissolving overnight, but they caused sores inside my cheeks. Recently I discovered this new version which was purported to be made without the offending ingredients. They don't work quite as well, as they don't completely dissolve, but so far haven't caused any irritation. My mouth isn't completely parched as it was without any product, so it is definitely better than nothing. There is a gel-like residue in the morning that needs to be scraped off the teeth. I think Oracoat has some more R & D to do.
