Die Rose ist veredelt. Deshalb hat sie extra starke Zweige. Die Rosen haben eine längere Lebensdauer und sind besonders winterfest.
Alle unsere Rosen sind okuliert, das heißt, sie haben einen frostempfindlichen Okulierungspunkt (die Verdickung, aus der die Zweige austreiben). Der Vorteil von okulierten Rosen besteht darin, dass sie viel winterhärter sind und eine längere Lebensdauer haben, da auf einem Stamm veredelte Rosen stärker sind.

Epic tales that still resonate

I dove into Dawson’s twin translation of The Iliad and The Odyssey hoping for clarity—and instead found myself struck by their emotional pull. Achilles’ fury, Hector’s honor, Odysseus’ longing for home—it all felt immediate and real. Dawson’s language flows so naturally, I forgot I was reading an ancient text. Feels like sitting around a fire
