Gordon & MacPhail ist der wohl berühmteste unabhängige Abfüller von Scotch Whisky, der mittlerweile auf eine über 120 Jahre währende Erfolgsgeschichte zurückblicken kann. Anders als bei anderen Abfüllern kauft G&M nicht schon fertig gefüllte Fässer, sondern den frischen "New Make" der Brennereien und entscheidet selbst welches Fass am besten dazu passt. Hier sind echte Wood Management Experten am Werk.

Aroma: Der Nase schmeichelt der Whisky mit intensivem Sherryaroma. Der bringt Noten aus Nüssen und Toffee mit. Geröstete Mandeln und Kandiszucker sind präsent. Im Hintergrund liegen fruchtige Noten aus Orangen.

Geschmack: Der Gordon & MacPhail Speymalt von 2017 legt sich würzig und kräftig auf die Zunge. Er bringt Noten aus Pfeffer mit. Sherry bringt Süße rein und vereint sich mit Toffee und Honig. Milchschokolade und Kaffee leiten den Abgang ein.

Abgang: Der Abgang ist langanhaltend. Der Single Malt Whisky verabschiedet sich cremig. Er hinterlässt Noten aus Schokolade und Kaffee. Sherry hält an.

I am a full-time reseller so I got foam from the hardware store and covered it in fabric as a background for taking pictures and I have a huge one that’s 6‘ x 3‘ plus another one that’s 4‘ x 4‘ both of which are hanging on the inside of this and it works great. I’m impressed!!

I got these dividers for outdoor use for some privacy from neighbors. They arrived quickly and were easy to set up. They look good, and though the legs don’t offer stability against any amount of wind—which I expected as it wasn’t advertised for outdoor use—all it took was placing a cinder block on the feet to hold it up right. Coverage is good, it’s easy to fold and move as needed, and it’s light weight. All in all a decent product. I will caution the purchase of “used like-new,” as both of the dividers I ordered were previously returned items, and one came missing a cap, instructions were not included, and the poles were all mixed up and not properly labeled. If I had not ordered a second divider (which did include the instructions) I would have had a much harder time figuring out which pieces were which and how to put them together.
