Der Noordhollandsch Kanaal ist ein rund 75 Kilometer langer Wasserweg in der niederländischen Provinz Nordholland. Er verläuft in Nord-Süd-Richtung und verbindet Amsterdam über die Städte Purmerend und Alkmaar mit Den Helder, einem bedeutenden Hafen und Marinestützpunkt. Die Anlage des Kanals geht auf den Beginn des 19. Jahrhunderts zurück und wurde unter der Leitung des niederländischen Wasserbauingenieurs Jan Blanken im Auftrag von König Wilhelm I. realisiert.
