Der Tankring Basic von HEPCO & BECKER ist speziell für die Modelle BMW F 800 GS der Baujahre 2024 bis 2025 konzipiert. Er ermöglicht eine sichere und einfache Befestigung von Tankrucksäcken des gleichen Herstellers auf dem Motorrad.

Im Lieferumfang dieses Produkts sind der Tankring sowie ein anpassbarer Gegenhalter enthalten, der abhängig von der Tankform und dem Lenkereinschlag am Tankrucksack montiert wird. Auch bei angebrachtem Tankring bleibt der Zugang zum Tankdeckel unbehindert möglich.

Zur Installation sind keine weiteren Komponenten außer dem Tankring und einem kompatiblen Tankrucksack für das genannte Modell erforderlich. Die Installation des Tankrings ist unkompliziert und erfordert keine speziellen Werkzeuge oder umfangreiche technische Kenntnisse.

Der Basic Tankring unterscheidet sich vom Lock-it Tankring hauptsächlich durch die Art der Verriegelung. Während der Basic Tankring rein mechanisch verriegelt, unterstützen beim Lock-it Tankring Magnete die Zentrierung des Rucksacks. Beide Systeme verwenden jedoch denselben modellspezifischen Metallring.
