Das ikonische Motiv des Tischsets feiert Weihnachten als Fest der Herzen und wird zum nostalgischen Signaturdesign für die Damastkollektion. Eignet sich genauso gut für die alltägliche Weihnachtsstimmung wie für Advent- und Weihnachtsfeiern.

Das Motiv wurde von Bodil Bødtker-Næss entworfen, die in den Siebzigerjahren zum Textilkünstlerzirkel von Georg Jensen Damask gehörte. Von ihr stammt auch das klassische Osterdesign aus derselben Zeit. Die geflochtenen Herzen und stilisierten Tannenzweige sind bereits mehr als 40 Jahre lang der Inbegriff für Weihnachtsstimmung. Das Design gehört in vielen Eigenheimen einfach dazu zu Weihnachten.

Die völlig klassische Farbkombination in Weihnachtsrot und Gold hat in den Herzen vieler einen ganz besonderen Platz. Sie befindet sich seit der Herausgabe 1975 in unserer Kollektion. Mit seiner wunderschönen Schlichtheit erinnert das Platzdeckchen in seiner ursprünglichen Farbkombination an die Traditionen. Die dazu passenden Stoffservietten runden das Bild noch ab.

A must read, especially during the current circumstances, for anyone wanting to have a better understanding of the nuanced Iranian political strategy. This book not only clarifies how the current government of Iran thinks and operates but also why it does what it does. Contrary to the western narrow and wrongheaded perception of the Iranian regime as an fanatical religious theocracy, the book lays bare different approches the Iranian government takes to different problems and shows how many of those decisions are not based on religious convictions. Decisions are made for pragmatic and historical reasons and until the Western governments understand what the issues are, they will not be able to find a path forward that does not include violence, war, and mass casualties. During these times that you have ignorant American Senators that push for war on behalf of a foreign government and don't know the most basic facts about Iran, I wish every American and European politician would read this book before uttering another word.
