Mit dem E.R.S. können Fahrer die Höhe der Windschutzscheibe direkt vom Lenker aus verstellen, ohne anzuhalten oder die Hände vom Lenker zu nehmen. Dies wird durch einen modern gestalteten Joystick ermöglicht, der leicht zugänglich am Lenker angebracht ist. Das System erlaubt eine Verstellung der Scheibe um bis zu 60 mm über die Standardhöhe hinaus, was zusätzlichen Schutz gegen Wettereinflüsse und Wind bietet. Für Geländefahrten oder städtische Umgebungen kann die Scheibe auch um 20 mm unter die Standardposition abgesenkt werden.
