Wegen der Konsequenz, mit der Rietveld hier ein Möbel als ideelle, abstrakte Komposition von Flächen und Linien im Raum auffasste, gilt der »Roodblauwe stoel« als entscheidendes Schlüsselobjekt des modernen Möbeldesigns. Die Art der Abstraktion, die Rietveld hier vornahm, lässt sich mit der des Malers Piet Mondrian vergleichen. Mondrian gehörte ebenso wie später auch Rietveld zu einer Reihe von Künstlern und Architekten, die sich um Theo van Doesburg und dessen Zeitschrift »De Stijl« gruppierten und mit ihren radikalen Formulierungen die Kunst des 20. Jahrhunderts nachhaltig beeinflussten. Rietveld reduzierte eine gegebene Realität auf ihre linearen und flächigen Grundzüge. Diente bei Mondrian etwa eine Landschaft als Vorbild, so war es bei Rietveld die Idee eines traditionellen, massiven Armlehnstuhls, den er in ein geometrisches Gebilde auflöste.

Great adhesive and easy to separate

The first thing I noticed was the quality of the adhesive. It’s incredibly tacky, which is exactly what you want—once it’s pressed down, it isn't going anywhere.It was easy to trim with a standard pair of scissors. Definitely makes a huge difference in rattles and quality of music inside the cabin. highly recommend and great quality for the money. The back comes off with ease and super easy to cut and place.

It’s not bad read my review

It wasn’t too bad as a finisher on top of actual sound deadening. However, be sure you apply it where you want it as it does not come off. If you try to pull it off, it leaves a nasty residue and some of the foam sticks to said residue

Would recommend
Size: 10 sqft
I used this sound deadening material in my car during an audio and interior upgrade, and the difference was noticeable immediately. Road noise, vibrations, and rattling were reduced a lot, especially on the doors and floor panels. The car feels much quieter and more solid while driving now.
The material was easy to cut and apply, and the adhesive stuck very well without peeling up. It has a quality feel to it and conforms nicely around curves and tight areas. I also noticed my speakers sound cleaner and have better bass response after installing it.
For the price, this sound deadening material is a great value and definitely worth it if you want a quieter ride and better overall sound quality in your vehicle.
