Der V5 Elektra ist der neueste IsoTek Spannungsoptimierer mit sechs unabhängigen Ausgängen, welche jeweils über ein dediziertes Filternetzwerk verfügen. Der V5 Elektra ist 450 mm breit, 350 mm tief und 106 mm hoch. Er verfügt über zwei unabhängige Hochstrom-Ausgänge (für alle Arten von Verstärkern), die von einem zweistufigen Filternetzwerk angetrieben werden, welches sowohl aus einer Drossel als auch aus einem doppelten Pi-Filter besteht. Jeder der vier restlichen Ausgänge (für Quellgeräte) verfügt über jeweils unabhängige sechsstufige Delta-Filter-Netzwerke, diese liefern fast 20 dB Stromoptimierung bei 1 kHz (Referenz 600 Ohm), dies verbessert sich dann auf fast 40 dB bei 10 kHz, zehnmal höher als der empfohlene Standard. Weitere fünf unabhängige Filterstufen sind zwischen jedem Ausgang in Kombination mit dem adaptiven Gating-System von IsoTek platziert, das doppelt so groß ist wie das des EVO3 Aquarius, um eine Kreuzkontamination der Gegentakt-Störungen zwischen den einzelnen Steckdosen zu eliminieren.

Somit besteht der V5 Elektra aus sechs unabhängigen Filternetzwerken in einer Box. Die meisten Stromfilter dieser Art verfügen über miteinander verbundene, in Reihe geschaltete Ausgänge. Dies ist ein Fehler, was auch nicht sonderlich klug ist, da sich die von der angeschlossenen Elektronik erzeugten Gegentaktstörungen dann von der einer Ausgangsbuchse zur anderen überlagern. Die elektrische Architektur und die völlig unabhängigen Filter der Ausgänge des V5 Elektra, verhindern dies und sind daher überlegen.

Sowohl Gegentakt- als auch Gleichtakt-Störungen werden drastisch reduziert. Die Kreuzkontamination der angeschlossenen Komponenten wird aufgrund der multiplen Filter, eine für jede Ausgangsbuchse, ebenfalls auf ein Minimum reduziert. Die meisten Netzfilter verbinden die Ausgänge miteinander, wobei jede in Reihe geschaltet wird. Dies ist ein Fehler, da Gegentakt-Störungen, welche von Ihrer angeschlossenen Elektronik erzeugt werden, von eine Ausgangsbuchse zur nächsten übertragen wird.

Die elektrische Architektur und das Design des V5 Elektra entsprechen dem hohen Standard von IsoTek für zweckmäßiges Design. Das Design und die Topologie der Leiterplatte (PCB) weisen die doppelte Kupfermenge im Gegensatz zum Industriestandard auf und sind zusätzlich versilbert, um die Stromstärke zu verbessern und den Widerstand zu verringern. Kritische (maßgeschneiderte) Komponenten-Bauteile haben niedrigere Toleranzen und dadurch eine ebenso niedrigere Induktivität bei verbesserter Stromhandhabung. Diese neue Schaltung bietet die doppelte Induktivität und 40 % mehr Strom im Vergleich zum EVO3 Aquarius. Dies trägt zu einer offeneren Klanginszenierung, Mikrodynamik und Details mit verbessertem Timing führt. Im gesamten Design wurde ein drastisch verbesserter Gleichstromwiderstand (DCR) erzeugt. IsoTeks Ziel hierbei ist es, den DCR zu reduzieren und die Performance näher an das Null-Ohm-Ideal zu bringen.

 

Diese technologischen Verbesserungen führen dazu, dass der V5 Elektra eine absolute Leistung von 10 A, eine höhere absolute Leistung, im Rahmen dessen bereitstellt (fast 16 A transient), was der Energieversorger liefern kann und die Vorschriften für ein 10 Ampere Produkt zulassen.

KERP © (Kirchhoff’s Equal Resistance Path) sorgt für gleichen Widerstand und gleiche Leistungsabgabe an alle Steckdosen. Die interne Verkabelung entspricht dem höchstem Standard – zum Einsatz kommt ein einzigartiges 2-mm-Design mit reinen 6N sauerstofffreien Kupferleitersträngen, die jeweils versilbert sind und einen geringen Widerstand und eine hohe Stromstärke bieten. Ein Dielektrikum aus fluoriertem Ethylenpropylen (FEP) in Luft- und Raumfahrtqualität mit sehr niedrigem dielektrischem Widerstand wird zum Schutz der Leiter verwendet und bietet ein ideales Dielektrikum für den Leiterkontakt für das interne Stromversorgungssystem.

Ein sequenzielles Schutzsystem von bis zu 67.500 A bewahrt zudem Ihre wertvollen Geräte sicher vor Stromstößen und Spannungsspitzen.

V5 Elektra enthält auch einen System Link-Anschluss, dieser ermöglicht eine Erweiterung der vorhandenen 6 Ausgänge unter Einhaltung der sternförmigen Masseverdrahtung bei Verwendung nur einer Wandsteckdose für das gesamte System.

Die interne Verkabelung der IsoTek-Produkte ist auf die IsoTek-Netzkabel abgestimmt. Kritisch, jedoch oft übersehen im Audiobereich ist die Aufrechterhaltung der Gemeinsamkeit von Design und Materialeigenschaften der eingesetzten Kabel, sei es ein signalführendes Kabel oder ein Stromkabel-Netzwerk.

Only my second first person written selection, I am still getting used to that aspect, but unlike my first, I enjoyed that the story was told through both MCs. A great enemies to lovers, forced proximity, fated love etc, that resonated to me. There were some small twists that I could see coming, but also a few that I didn’t quite see until the characters were also seeing. Personally, I am more interested in the story than the spice, but with that said, it was well seasoned! I’m having trouble finding accurate words to describe the way this book made me feel, but I am going to do my best. To start off with basic elements, the character and world building are phenomenal. I feel a strong bond to not only the two main characters, Ara and Rogue, but to each and every character introduced throughout the book. The author did a stellar job of giving each of them unique personhood. All of the scenes are beautifully described. So much so that throughout the entirety of the book, I could see every scene: the towns, the castles, the meadows, the landscape. I have had difficulty with this and with distinguishing between outlying characters while reading in the past, but I did not have to think to remember details of world or character building because they flowed naturally within the story and were described well. I have read book series before that made me want to be a part of that world, but I actually felt like I got to step into Auryna and Ravaryn! The plot twists!! Although this is not a suspense novel, it still had me on a rollercoaster of emotions and on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. I haven’t cried actual tears over a book since I was in high school (and I’ve read a LOT). This book finally broke the floodgates in the final few chapters. Multiple times. And we love a good cliffhanger. It truly made me FEEL. THE SPICE is a solid 3.5/5. Some of the scenes had me flushed, some had me taking notes, some just had my jaw slack and my mouth hanging open. Bravo, JD Linton, bravo. The relationships: friendships, family, romantic, ALL of the relationships in this book have so much meaning. The author does a great job at making you feel the love, the anger, the peace, the frustrations, the safety, the familiarity, etc. between the characters. Ara and Rogue. I can not say enough and I also do not want to say too much. Just know that I feel like I know them both, to their core. I know what their childhood looks likes, their darkest moments, their biggest fears, their dreams and passions, what they want in life… The POV switches were seamless. I am so happy this author decided to let us see from both sets of eyes. I can not wait for book two after that cliffhanger. And there is SO much potential for at least one prequel, I can’t wait to see where this author goes! I hope this series continues and flourishes. Fingers crossed!

This book was phenomenal, I devoured it within a few days! For this being a debut novel, it is fantastic and I would’ve thought the author was a seasoned author. I have zero complaints about this book. Let me start by saying that the world building was phenomenal. I could picture everything in my head because of how detailed it was — that’s how good it was written. And I absolutely love the “captive/captor” trope so much, it’s become one of my favorite tropes, so I was pleasantly surprised to see that this book had that. I loved the banter between Rogue and Ara — they’re both snarky and witty, plus with the romantic tension, it made the dialogue that much better. Speaking of romantic tension, yes there is spice but not so much of it that it overrides the plot, which I loved. For me, this would probably be on the 3/5 level of spice. This book had a ton of plot twists and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
