Leuchtendes Rubinrot. Ein komplexes Bukett aus roten und schwarzen Beeren, Kräutern der Provence sowie einen Hauch Pfeffer und Vanille. Um diese Aromenvielfalt zu erzeugen, werden die einzelnen Parzellen getrennt vinifiziert. Die alten Rebstöcke (Grenache 1930-1940 gepflanzt) gedeihen auf sehr kargen Böden, die mit den berühmt berüchtigten ‚galets roulés‘ bedeckt sind. Nachts geben diese Steine die tagsüber gespeicherte Wärme wieder an die Rebstöcke ab.
