Die Familien hatten ihre neue Kellerei direkt am Bahnhof von Haro angesiedelt, was es ihnen ermöglichte, große Mengen ihrer qualitätsorientierten Weine nach Frankreich und darüber hinaus zu exportieren. Der Vina Alberdi Gran Reserva wird fast ausschließlich aus Tempranillo von den Weinbergen Las Cuevas, El Palo und Las Monjas sowie einem winzigen Tropfen Graciano vom Besitz in Montecillo gekeltert. Die Trauben werden alle sorgfältig in kleinen Kisten gelesen und über einen langen Zeitraum in Tanks vergoren. Der junge Wein reift dann drei Jahre lang in Fässern aus amerikanischer Eiche, die La Rioja Alta in ihrer eigenen Küferei herstellt. Die letzte Phase ist die Assemblage, bei der die Winzer von La Rioja Alta alle Fässer verkosten und die finale Zusammensetzung auswählen. Das Ergebnis ist ein sehr weicher und zugänglicher Rotwein, der auch in jungen Jahren mit großem Vergnügen getrunken werden kann. Verlockende Noten von zerdrückten Erdbeeren, leuchtend roten Kirschen und Leder bestimmen das Bouquet zusammen mit Untertönen von Tomaten und Gewürzen aus dem Eichenholz. Am Gaumen zeigen sich weiche, raffinierte Tannine, die durch einen mittleren Körper, eine kräftige Geschmacksmitte und einen langen Abgang ergänzt werden.Shipping Notes

Strength in Numbers

I have perpetual allergies which cause me to sneeze and sneeze. Buying tissues at supermarket is so expensive, so I took a chance and bought these, and they are great!
