The original Louis Vuitton Damier Canvas was first introduced in 1888 and relaunched in 1996 with a complete collection of handbags and small leather goods. Its distinctive geometric pattern and understated elegance have established it as a classic, timeless collection for LV.
The exterior coated canvas shows some wear, particularly with chafed areas at the bottom corners. The handles have softened, and there is some rubbing and peeling along the edges. The upper trim exhibits creasing and signs of use. The hardware remains bright and shiny, although it does have some hairline surface scratches. The interior features faint stains and there is a faint perfume odor present. Used bags usually do NOT smell like new and have individual smells that are perceived differently depending on personal sensitivity. The age of the bag can bring with it a specific scent. Overall, the bag is in good condition, but please note that the matching pouch is missing.
