Als directe uitbreiding op Star Wars: The Deckbuilding Game voert deze doos het conflict tussen de Rebellen en het Keizerrijk verder op, met nieuwe eenheden, kapitaalschepen en bases die zich in de strijd mengen. Een nieuwe toevoeging zijn missiekaarten, waarmee je tijdens het spel nieuwe reinforcement-kaarten kunt toevoegen, plus nieuwe spelmodi die de manier waarop je speelt flink opschudden.

Deze uitbreiding bevat ook 10 nieuwe bases en 10 geüpgradede startkaarten voor elke factie. Daarnaast zijn er nieuwe spelmodi, waaronder een campagnemodus die Star Wars: The Deckbuilding Game verandert van een snelle, op zichzelf staande schermutseling in een reeks van 5 potjes waarbij de uitkomst van elke match doorwerkt in de volgende.
