Welcome to Machi Koro town. You have just been elected mayor. Congratulations! Unfortunately, the residents have some pretty big demands: jobs, an amusement park, a few cheese factories, and maybe even a radio tower. A difficult proposition, since the city currently consists of only a wheat field, a bakery and a single die.

Armed with only your trusty dice and a dream, you must grow Machi Koro into the largest city in the region. You will have to collect income from developments, build public works and steal money from your neighbors' safes. Just make sure they don't do the same to you!

Machi Koro is a fast game for 2-4 players. Each player wants to develop the city on their own terms to complete all the under-construction sights faster than their rivals. In turn, players roll one or two dice. If the sum of rolls matches the number of a building a player owns, they gain that building's effect; in some cases, opponents will also benefit from your throw (just as you can benefit from theirs). Then, with money in hand, a player can build a landmark or a new building, preferably increasing the prosperity of their city in the future. The first player to build all their landmarks wins!
