I have only tried another version of this, but the biotene version is water based and not oil like I tried. I put a smudge of this on my finger and suck it off. I place it on the roof of my mouth and dip from there, but when done, i still need a drink. But its helpful if your mouth is dry and you keep having to drink a ton of water to get to sleep. So I get a bit of this. I'm hoping to find a way to make it myself though.
