Für alle, denen das selber Rollen zu kompliziert ist, gibt es alternativ eine Maki-Form, die man nur befüllen muß. Abgerundet wird das Set durch Sesam, klassisch hell gerösteten und schwarzer gerösteter Sesam und zusätzlich Sesam mit einer pikanten Kimchi-Gewürzmischung oder mit Wasabi-Gewürzmischung ummantelt. Wer Sushi im modernen Stil bevorzugt, findet neben der Sojasauce eine Kikkoman Teriyaki-Sauce mit Knoblauch und eine Sriracha Mayonnaise. Verwendung

Mit dem Sushi-Set lassen sich zu Hause verschiedene klassische und moderne Sushi-Variationen zubereiten – vom gerollten Sushi bis zur unkomplizierten Sushi-Bowl. Der Sushi-Reis wird gekocht und anschließend mit dem Essigpulver abgeschmeckt. Danach kann er je nach gewünschter Zubereitungsart mit Nori, Wasabi, Sojasauce, eingelegtem Ingwer und Sesam kombiniert werden.

Für klassische Maki-Sushi werden Reis, Nori und Füllungen wie Gemüse, Fisch oder Tofu mithilfe der Bambusmatte zu kompakten Rollen geformt und anschließend in Stücke geschnitten. Auch Inside-Out-Rolls lassen sich mit der Matte zubereiten: Hier liegt der Reis außen, während Nori und Füllung im Inneren eingerollt werden. Mit hellem, schwarzem oder gewürztem Sesam erhalten die Rollen ein dekoratives und aromatisches Finish.

Wer es besonders puristisch mag, kann Nigiri-Sushi formen: Dafür wird der Sushi-Reis von Hand zu kleinen länglichen Reisbällchen geformt und mit Belag nach Wahl belegt. Ein Hauch Wasabi sorgt für die typische Schärfe, Sojasauce und Sushi-Ingwer runden den Genuss ab.

Für eine schnelle und moderne Variante eignet sich das Set auch ideal für Sushi-Bowls, zum Beispiel als Chirashi-Bowl. Dabei wird der gewürzte Sushi-Reis in einer Schale angerichtet und mit Nori-Streifen, Gemüse, Fisch, Garnelen, Ei, Tofu oder anderen Lieblingszutaten belegt. Sesam, Wasabi, Ingwer, Sojasauce oder Sriracha-Mayo sorgen für zusätzliche Würze und machen die Bowl zu einer unkomplizierten Alternative zu gerolltem Sushi.

Auch Temaki, handgerollte Sushi-Tüten, sind einfach umzusetzen: Noriblätter werden mit Reis und Zutaten belegt und locker zu kleinen Kegeln gerollt. Diese Variante eignet sich besonders gut für gemeinsame Sushi-Abende, bei denen jeder seine eigene Kombination zusammenstellt.

Easy do not buy, the only reason I didn't return is because it would have been tough to disassemble the half I got through in the first 5 hours of building (mostly spent fixing the product delivered)
