You have traveled the dangerous byways of Kremel and finally walked past the gates of the city at dusk. So many people used to get you excited, but now you're jaded and afraid of pickpockets. Beneath the buildings, stone and wooden buildings you can see the layers of dust and dirt, and a floor of shadows. A shopkeeper waves in recognition and looks at you in the hope of news from the outside world. But you have a dark destination in mind and no time to spare. You nod back, take to the rooftops, and later descend to the sewers, where you hope to find the missing piece that will take you to the only place that will damn or save this land... the Dark Spire.
