Als Hommage an die globale Tradition der Maskenherstellung hat der belgische Designer Stefan Schöning nun seine eigene dekorative Maskenkollektion namens Langkawi geschaffen. Diese fünf anthropomorphen Designs sind nach Langkawi benannt, einer malaysischen Insel, die Heimat talentierter Holzschnitzer und des wunderschönen Hartholzes, das für diese Kollektion verwendet wird. Die Masken strahlen Rhythmus aus und sind symmetrisch in ihrer Asymmetrie, was Schönings minimalistischem Stil entspricht.

Die Kollektion umfasst fünf Masken: Eclipse, Elephant, Offspring, Sunrise und Toucan. Letztere ist auch als limitierte Bronzeskulptur in zwei verschiedenen Größen S und L erhältlich.
