In the spring of 2023, the band Space-C released their studio album "Let's go". With dirty skate rock, the guys from Hesse not only bring the audience to ecstasy live, also on the new record the almost supernatural energy of the young band is intensely noticeable.

Dave, Simon, Justin and Daniel founded Space-C in 2019 and could hardly be more opposite as characters. In the same way, therefore, extreme introversion and extroversion meet on the new album. This makes for explosive, but also for light-footed musical moods, which is why the album can also come up with easy listening songs in addition to emotional deep dive tracks.

In the process, some punk-savvy listeners will certainly recognize one or two classic old school influences, which are, however, poured into a completely new acoustic form on Space-C. This happens inevitably, since the album's sound is both explosive and light-footed. This is inevitable, since most of the new songs were created in jam sessions, to which the musicians attribute an almost therapeutic effect: The dirtier the music, the more healing its effect.

The Darmstadt-based band also ventures to extremes in terms of content with "Let's Go": the album deals with emotional highs and maximum enjoyment of life as well as self-hatred and the low that often follows. This entire spectrum of emotions is to be depicted and experienced relentlessly honestly in the 13 tracks of the new album.

With their signature song "Space-C" the band already presented a phenomenal single at the beginning of the year, but in the meantime it has a completely different function: "Whoever feels this song gets the Space Cadet patch," says lead singer Dave Sattler. This imaginary patch unites the musicians with their fan community and is meant to invite the audience to live out any form of energy and emotion together, unfiltered. 

Because that's exactly what Space-C stands for:
"Feeling the music, no frills, and letting your mind fly together. Let's go, Space Cadets!"
