Im Vergleich zum Standardauspuff wird das Gewicht um beeindruckende 45,6% (1,8 kg) reduziert. Zudem bietet der Auspuff Leistungs- und Drehmomentsteigerungen, insbesondere im mittleren bis hohen Drehzahlbereich. Konkret sind das Steigerungen von 0,5 kW (0,7 PS) bei 5.250 U/min und 0,6 Nm bei 5.300 U/min im Vergleich zu einem Honda CB750 Hornet Modell mit serienmäßigem Auspuffsystem, getestet auf dem hauseigenen Prüfstand von Akrapovic.

Dieses vollständig EC/ECE-zugelassene Euro 5 System erfordert keine Neukonfiguration der Motorsteuerung – es ist eine einfache Plug-and-Play-Installation. Es bietet einen tiefen, sportlichen und lebendigen Akrapovic-Klang und ist vollständig kompatibel mit den originalen weichen Seitenkoffern von Honda.
