Das für WIG- und MMA- Schweißen geeignete Schweißgerät Awelco Mikrotig 170 verwendet einen Inverter- Stromgenerator, der einen Niederspannungsstrom und viele Ampere reproduziert, die zur Bildung eines Lichtbogens verwendet werden, der durch seine Hitze das Metall der Teile zum Schmelzen bringt Beim WIG-Schweißen kann die nicht abschmelzende Wolframelektrode mit oder ohne Zusatzwerkstoff verschweißt werden , während beim E-Hand-Schweißen über den entsprechenden Schalter wählbar die Elektrode rutil , basisch , Edelstahl oder Gusseisen sein kann. Das WIG- Schweißen erfolgt unter Schutzgas . Es ist sehr nützlich für die Herstellung hochwertiger Schweißnähte auf allen Metallen und Legierungen. Geeignet für den professionellen und privaten Gebrauch.
