Seit den 1980er-Jahren wird die Frage nach der aktuellen Kunst Italiens diskutiert, die größtenteils noch immer ein Desiderat der Forschung und globalen Ausstellungslandschaft darstellt. Die Publikation gibt anhand ausgewählter Werke aus der Sammlung Schaufler einen Überblick über die italienische Gegenwartskunst. Im Mittelpunkt stehen historische, fiktive, visuelle und thematische Begegnungen italienischer Künstler mit Zeitgenossen, die in prägnanten Positionen zusammengefasst und nach Aspekten wie Raum, Design, Farbe, Material oder Fotografie gruppiert werden. Welche Bedeutung kommt der zeitgenössischen Kunst Italiens etwa im Kontext von Galerien und Museen und insbesondere bei der Biennale di Venezia und der Documenta zu? Parallelen zu anderen Strömungen und Unterscheidungsmerkmale sowie die Relevanz des italienischen Kunstschaffens für die internationale Kunstentwicklung seit den 1950er-Jahren werden sichtbar.Die vorgestellten Künstler (Auswahl): Monica Bonvicini, Lucio Fontana, Helen Frankenthaler, Alberto Garutti, Julia Mangold, Nam June Paik, Mimmo Paladino, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Mario Schifano, Ettore Spalletti, Günther Uecker

Fantastic buy. Small and handy.

I bought this end table for a very small space. I also thought the USB and plug-in ports would be excellent as I have other end tables with that feature. I have a small USB-powered fan and USB desk lamp that I have plugged into the ports and they work fine. I LOVE this little table. The ports and plug-in are easy to reach, they might be more astectically pleaseing if they were rear mounted. The black plastic on the white table rather stands out so I wish they had white plastic, or again rear mounted. The drawer is very small but that is to be expected then the table is small as well. But it holds USB cords or a TV remote and whatever else that is small. The lower shelf could be used to display a plant or to set books on. I use it to hold my small trash can. The height is perfect for my accent chair or a normal-sized sofa. Overall I really do love this little table.
Pay attention to assembly. The instructions were not very clear and I put the rails on in the wrong direction which meant disassembling the entire front to flip them around. It was easy to do but took a bit of time. It is a sturdy piece and I would buy it again if I needed another small table.

Nice small end tables

They are really nice. Perfect for my living room. Recommend if you have limited space. Also has a plug outlet and port to connect your phone charger and other devices which is very convenient.

This comes as a two pack and I was thinking it might be cheap looking or be made of inferior materials. These end tables are solid and beautiful when put together. They come unassembled but the instructions are very clear and understandable. Highly recommend this product. Well worth the price.
