Der Tankring Basic von HEPCO & BECKER ist speziell für das Motorradmodell Yamaha XSR 900 der Baujahre 2016 bis 2021 entwickelt worden. Dieses Produkt erlaubt eine sichere und einfache Montage von Tankrucksäcken des gleichen Herstellers.

Zum Lieferumfang gehört der Tankring sowie ein anpassbarer Gegenhalter, der entsprechend der Tankform und des Lenkereinschlags am Tankrucksack befestigt wird. Der Tankdeckel bleibt auch bei angebrachtem Tankring voll zugänglich.

Die Installation des Tankrings ermöglicht die Nutzung spezifischer Tankrucksäcke für das genannte Modell, ohne weitere Anpassungen oder Zubehör.

Technische Merkmale und Bedienung

  • Der Tankring bietet einen stabilen Halt, selbst bei hohen Fahrgeschwindigkeiten.
  • Die Bedienung erfolgt durch eine mechanische Verriegelung, die ein deutlich hörbares Einrasten des Tankrucksacks gewährleistet.
  • Zur Entriegelung wird ein Mechanismus am vorderen Teil des Tankrucksacks betätigt, der in Fahrtrichtung angebracht ist, woraufhin der Rucksack einfach abgenommen werden kann.
  • In Deutschland ist für die Verwendung des Tankrucksacksystems keine Allgemeine Betriebserlaubnis (ABE) oder eine Eintragung in die Fahrzeugpapiere notwendig.
  • Die empfohlene Höchstgeschwindigkeit mit montiertem Tankrucksack beträgt 130 km/h.
  • Die maximale Zuladung für den Tankrucksack sollte etwa 3 kg nicht überschreiten.

Weitere Informationen: Der Basic Tankring unterscheidet sich vom Lock-it Tankring durch die Art der Verriegelung. Während der Lock-it Tankring zusätzlich Magnete zur Zentrierung nutzt, erfolgt die Verriegelung beim Basic Modell rein mechanisch. Beide Systeme verwenden den gleichen modellspezifischen Metallring.

Es ist zu beachten, dass Tankrucksackgegenhalter und Tankring kompatibel sein müssen und vom gleichen System stammen sollten.

I just want to start with saying that this is beautiful and very high quality. I really wasn’t expecting much with the price point being so low. But the cover is very soft and cozy. It is too big for my 2018 honda civic center console, I really wish it fit because I love this thing! I’ve just had it next to me while I sit on the couch and have been petting it the last couple hours. I’ll find somewhere else to put it because it’s that soft and pretty. Only docking this item one star because of the smell. It's genuine sheepskin so it definitely smells like.... sheep. I've never bought genuine sheepskin before so I'm not sure if that's always the case. I think after it airs out for a while it should be fine, but it was a little off-putting for me at first. Besides that though it looks BEAUTIFUL. I bought it to cover up some dog claw marks on the center console since I got my car used. It covers them up, and also makes my car look fancier. I think it should last a long time as long as I make sure to not spill anything on it. Overall, it seems very well made, is super soft and comfortable, was good value, fit really well on the center console (I have a Subaru Forester), and it was totally worth getting.

fits 2013 honda civic, fades to a weird blue and looks matted scruffy
Fluffy and cute! This is all I hoped it would be. It is a piece of real sheepskin with a couple of pieces of elastic sewn to the bottom to attach it to the console cover. This makes it somewhat versatile concerning fit. It is just long enough for the console in my Honda Civic, which I believe is about 11 3/4 x 6 inches. The fluffiness of the cover allows for some slack in coverage, so it does adequately cover my console. I was pleased to see that I actually got the long-haired one. I am very pleased with the product. If it hadn't worked in the car I might have kept it in the house to pet it! Update: Over a few months the silver fur, which I thought was a natural wool color, has faded to a washed out pale aqua, and this looks very scruffy. The elastic bands that hold it in place over the console show now that it is less fluffy. I will probably wash it and see whether that will improve the situation, but I suspect this will renew the curl, and leave the band exposed. I have downgraded this to a 3 from a 5. Further update: This looks terrible. Very scruffy, slides around. I did wash it, but it did this did not renew or make it look like natural sheepskin. Whatever processing and dying they did not this seems to have removed the natural curl. I would have preferred no dye and processing, and a natural piece of sheepskin, probably bigger to account for getting matted and smaller as it ages. Note: This one is bigger than some of these on Amazon, so measure your console and consider the size. This one barely fit when it was new.
