Der HEPCO & BECKER Tankring Basic ist speziell für das Motorradmodell Honda ST 1300 Pan European konzipiert, welches in den Baujahren 2002 bis 2016 produziert wurde. Dieses Zubehörteil ermöglicht eine sichere und einfache Montage eines Tankrucksacks direkt am Kraftstofftank des Motorrades.

Im Lieferumfang dieses Produkts sind der Tankring sowie ein anpassbarer Gegenhalter enthalten, der abhängig von der Form des Tanks und dem Einschlag des Lenkers am Tankrucksack befestigt wird. Auch bei angebrachtem Tankring bleibt der Zugang zum Tankdeckel uneingeschränkt möglich.

Für die Installation des Tankrings ist lediglich der Erwerb eines kompatiblen Tankrucksacks für das genannte Motorradmodell erforderlich. Unterschiede zwischen BASIC und Lock-it Tankringen

Der BASIC Tankring funktioniert über eine rein mechanische Verriegelung, wohingegen der Lock-it Tankring zusätzlich Magnete für die Zentrierung nutzt. Beide Systeme verwenden jedoch denselben modellspezifischen Metallring.

Weitere Hinweise: Ein Tankrucksack mit Lock-it Gegenhalter ist nicht mit einem BASIC Tankring kompatibel und umgekehrt. Es ist wichtig, dass Tankrucksackgegenhalter und Tankring demselben System angehören.

I didn't expect much but it works really well and seems to be very accurate. It's much more sensitive (to 0.1g) than the scale I was using to measure my coffee and the autostart timer works really well. Also, unlike my other scale, this one is USB-C rechargable and so far has no indication of needing a recharge after a week or so of daily use. My other scale uses CR2032 batteries and goes through a pair every three weeks, so being able to recharge instead is quite nice. It's small and I can use it to time the extraction and also use it to measure out heated water for tea, or whatever I need. This is definitely a steal for the price.

Great scale that needs some improvements to be perfect

Very accurate scale, looks good in white, timer works nicely and I do like the concept of the ratio conversion. Shown in photos with 0 measurement drift over time, even without the silicone mat. To make this the best scale in the price range, I would change: - The auto timer function. Timing currently stops if you pick up the brew to swirl; you must completely restart the process if you do happen to pick it up. I would change that to only stop on user input (pressing a button). - The ratio conversion. Why offer XX.0 precision if you can only change the ratio in whole amounts? I'd suggest offering 0.1 increments, selectable with +/- buttons instead of cycling through. - The silicone mat is not well affixed and slides around. Kind of useless as-is and I just keep it off. I would wrap the whole thing around the measurement platform, similar to how the Greater Goods scale does it, to really keep it secure. It's not perfect, but for the price, it's a 4.5/5 for me. Rounding up to 5 since a 4 is considered "bad" by today's online rating standards.
