Am Gaumen besticht er durch cremige Textur und präzise Struktur – eine lebhafte Säure führt die Aromen in einen langen, eleganten Nachhall. Der Jahrgang 2024 in Franschhoek profitierte von einem feuchten Winter 2023, der optimale Bodenbedingungen schuf, gefolgt von warmen, trockenen Bedingungen mit gezielter Bewässerung. Trotz geringerer Erträge erreichte das Lesegut außergewöhnliche Konzentration und Säurebalance. Die Vinifikation erfolgte zu 100 % aus ganzen Trauben, vergoren in Amphoren und Fässern, dann zehn Monate gereift – ein Prozess, der Komplexität und Eleganz vereint.
