Seine zumeist großformatigen Gemälde mit horizontal geschichteten Farbflächen auf monochromem Grund haben sich als Inbegriff klassischer Bilder der Moderne in unser Bildgedächtnis eingeprägt. Die Publikation beleuchtet anhand von zentralen Werkgruppen aus allen Schaffensphasen des Künstlers - darunter der »Rothko Room« der Phillips Collection und die »Harvard Murals« der Harvard University - das Bestreben Rothkos, eine gesteigerte Beziehung zwischen Bild und Betrachter zu erreichen. Bereits in den frühen fünfziger Jahren grenzt sich der Künstler durch seinen expliziten Anspruch, die Präsentation seiner Bilder zu kontrollieren, vom damaligen Kunstbetrieb ab. Eine dichte Hängung der Bilder in relativ kleinen Räumen, eine gedämpfte Beleuchtung und übergroße Bildformate sollten ein unmittelbares Erleben sicherstellen - ein Konzept, das mit der »Rothko Chapel« in Houston wohl seinen berühmtesten und gültigen Ausdruck gefunden hat. Me gustó pero es muy poco el contenido. Creí que traía dos unidades y no. Creo que me confundí.
Me gusta porque es sin sabor y puedes utilizarlas con diferentes bebidas sin alterarles el sabor. No puedo hablar mucho del resultado porque al ser poca entiendo que debía tomar por mas tiempo.
