Geschichte dieses Modells:

Die Arno XI ist ein Rennbootes, das Anfang der 1950er Jahre von Achille Castoldi inspiriert und von der Werft Cantiere Timossi in Azzano (einem Ortsteil von Mezzegra) am Comer See gebaut wurde. Castoldi wollte einen Geschwindigkeitsweltrekord im Wasser aufstellen, also überredete er die damaligen Ferrari-Rennfahrer Alberto Ascari und Luigi Villoresi, Enzo Ferrari zu beeinflussen, ihm einen 4,5-Liter-V12-Ferrari-Motor zu liefern; derselbe Motor, der Ferrari 1951 seinen ersten Grand-Prix-Sieg mit dem Ferrari 375 F1 auf dem Silverstone Circuit bescherte. Der Motor wurde in einen Timossi-Dreipunkt-Rennwasserflugzeugrumpf eingebaut.
Castoldi schaffte es, die Pferdestärke durch den Anbau von zwei Kompressoren weiter zu steigern. Das Ergebnis war ein 502 PS starkes Schnellboot, mit dem er im Oktober 1953 auf dem Iseosee eine Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 150,19 mph (241.708 km/h) erreichte. Das ist bis heute der Geschwindigkeitsweltrekord für ein 800-kg-Boot.

Too harsh on my sensitive skin for daily use
This cleanser contains a variety of emollient and moisturizing oils, but it also contains potassium hydroxide, which indicates saponification, a process that turns oil into soap. While it has the appearance of being an oily liquid, it foams up nicely on wet skin to create a luxurious lather. It has a fresh, clean soapy scent. I can't quite place it, but it reminds me of something from a long time ago. It is a little powdery and perhaps more of a mature scent, but I really like how clean it smells. Unfortunately, I find it to be quite harsh on my skin, which is likely a result of the saponification of the oils. One day of use here and there will be fine for me, but daily use makes my skin quite dry. In fact, it makes my skin squeaky clean, which is not necessarily a good thing. It is a shame because the scent is so nice, and I love the oil-to-foamy-lather formulation. Another issue is that the dropper on the bottle arrived clogged. It is really puzzling because the cleanser seems to be completely liquid. I ran the dropper under very warm water for quite some time in an attempt to clear the clog, but I was unsuccessful. So, in using the product, I've just been pouring it into my hand. This could also be contributing to my issues with dryness, as no matter how hard I try to dispense a small amount, pouring the cleanser out of the bottle inevitably results in my using more than would have been dispensed from a dropper.

I don’t typically leave reviews but I had to with this! 🤍 I purchased this in a bundle with the moisturizer and under-eye patches. I’ve only used this maybe 2 or 3 times and my skin looks so much better. I just turned 40. My skin tone has been uneven, just overall unhealthy looking and wrinkling for years. I’ve dealt with it every day for many years. Even in my teenage years and twenties. I can never fully cover the darkness, but I’ve used the eyepatches once and the serum and moisturizer twice, and my under eyes are looking better and less dark too. I’m just overall so happy with these products! I’m so happy I stumbled across this product and decided to give it a chance! 🤍🤍🤍
