På en regnfuld søndag i februar henrettes to mænd med maskinpistol i en bil på Slotsholmen i København. Drabsvåbnets fortid leder efterforskningen mod rockermiljøet, og politiassistent Lars Winkler får pludselig rigeligt at se til.
Journalisten Louise er rejst til Vietnam for at opspore sin biologiske mor. Her hører hun om et dansk firma med patent på en ny – og ikke helt uskadelig – rissort. Da Louises meddeler bliver skudt, flygter hun hjem til Danmark og sin lejlighed, hvor der har været indbrud. Nogen, ud over politiet, leder efter hende.
Opklaringen af Slotsholmens dobbeltdrab står i stampe, og politiet retter opmærksomheden mod ofrenes fortid. Et uopklaret drab på en ung kvinde fra 1980’erne kaster endnu et røgslør over den makabre sag, og Lars må bruge al sin snilde i forsøget på at nå til bunds i en sump af pengebegær og organiseret kriminalitet, der har tråde ind i politiske kredse og involverer samfundets øverste lag.

A nice sized wallet for front pocket keeping, holds the essentials & more quite well

I like that I can keep cash, credit cards, ID and ATM cards all safely secured in this combo wallet/money clip that fits nicely in a back or front pants pocket (I keep mine in my front pocket). I've gotten this brand/style before, probably 6-8 years ago and it's the only wallet I'll use. I needed to replace mine as the spring metal clip does eventually wear through the leather at the rounded end of the money clip, but mine still functions just fine (I just wanted a new one for the holidays!) A well-made wallet and one I'll keep using and getting as long as I can find them.
